Havre Police Department

An Eighth Street caller asked Wednesday at 8:31 a.m. to speak with an officer about a burglary that happened last fall.

A theft was reported Wednesday at 10:23 a.m. by a caller with Compliance Monitoring Systems.

Animal Control was notified after a Wednesday 12:35 p.m. caller reported their yard on Third Street was being overrun with cats.

--

An officer investigated a 2:33 p.m. Wednesday report that a man threatened people with a gun regarding a cat.

--

Brandon Lee Wombold of Havre, 27, was arrested on charges of burglary from a residence and vehicle theft during a Wednesday 6:04 p.m. vehicle stop on First Street.

Tanya Renee Sumner of Havre, 46, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence after a caller on Third Street reported Wednesday at 7:17 p.m. that a woman was passed out in a vehicle parked in front of an ATM.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported on 43rd Street West at 9:31 a.m. Wednesday.

Deputies investigated a Wednesday 2:38 p.m. animal control complaint from Fifth Street North.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to one call Wednesday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two 12-week-old kittens, three 7-week-old kittens, four 9-week-old kittens, one 10-week-old kitten, two cats and an 11-week-old kitten all of unknown gender, two female cats and two male cats. Another four 8-week-old kittens were being cared for in a foster home.

The shelter also held a female 8-month-old border collie puppy, four male and one female 7-month-old mixed-breed puppies and a female mixed-breed dog. A male 5-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a female 11-week-old mixed-breed puppy and a male mixed-breed dog were listed in foster care.
