Linda Lea Geldard, 75, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, in the early hours June 6, 2022, in Great Falls, Montana.
Linda was born September 24, 1946, to her mother, Jeanette Noblitt, in Long Beach, California. Linda was the oldest of three children, her younger sister, Denise, and brother, Mark, shared a loving bond and she enjoyed taking vacations later in life to visit them in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a young girl, she was able to live in a lot of unique places like Alaska and Hawaii.
It was in Hawaii when she met the love of her life, Chuck.
Linda and Chuck fell deeply in love and married in California. They spent almost 50 years happily married before Chuck passed away in 2010. They lived in Washington for a brief period and then settled down in Havre, Montana. Together they brought three marvelous daughters into this world, Lexie, Corina and Tiffany whom she cared for immensely.
Linda had a deep passion for the Lord. She instilled this passion throughout her whole family. She enjoyed listening to church hymns and reading her bible.
Linda was also long-time member of the sorority, Beta Sigma Phi. Through this sorority Linda built many lifelong friendships that she cherished, and these friends turned into sisters. Going to Beta meetings was one of Linda's most favorable activities and her sisters meant the world to her.
Linda enjoyed taking care of people. She had many caretaker roles during her life, from running daycares to being a home healthcare aid. Linda was compassionate and had such a big heart. All who knew Linda knew how deeply she cared for her family and friends.
Linda is survived by her eldest daughter, Lexie (Nate) Hoines; daughter Corina (Wes) Carlson; grandsons, Justin and Cody Carlson; granddaughter, Allisa Olson (Tre Bisel); her beloved cousin Cherie Lynn Dobson; brother-in-law Mickey (Judy) Geldard; sister-in law-Judy (Mike) Owens; brother-in-law Verlin Stearns; all of her Beta sisters; numerous nieces and nephews, and countless friends who were touched by Linda's spirit.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Chop"; her youngest daughter, Tiffany; her parents, Jeanette and Frank Storey; siblings, Denise Hall and Mark Storey; members from the Geldard family; her beloved kitty Tabet; numerous aunts and uncles, and her grandparents.
A prayer vigil will be held for Linda 6 p.m. Friday, June 10th at the Holland & Bonine Funeral Chapel with her funeral Mass 10 a.m. Saturday, June 11th.
