And at last weekend's Class C State Meet, Cloe Kalanick was the best on the discus, as she threw to a Class C state championship. Kalanick tossed the discus 127-11 to win, while also finishing sixth in the shot put with a throw of a 34-04.75. Kalanick, who is also a basketball standout for the Longhorns, helped Fort Benton to a Top 10 finish in the team standings in Great Falls.

Havre's Josh Currie had a tough rival in Miles City's Dalton Polesky. Still, Currie made the most out of his final Class A state tennis tournament. For the second season in a row, Currie finished second in boys singles, as he fell to Polesky in the state championship match last Thursday in Bozeman. Yet, Currie was still a two-time Class A All-State performer, who went 39-5 this season, with his only losses coming to Polesky. Currie was also a four-year varsity player for the Ponies, who competed in basketball and cross country as well.
