Local conservation working group meeting June 8

Press release

The core purpose of conservation districts is to represent and serve the natural resource needs of their community. One of the ways we achieve this is through local working group meetings where stakeholders can voice their concerns, tell of their experiences, and influence both Conservation District focus and the direction of Natural Resources Conservation Service long-range plans.

This year the Hill County Conservation District Local Working Group meeting will be Wednesday, June 8, at 10 a.m. in the USDA building at 206 25th Ave. W. in Havre. We greatly value the presence of any and all stakeholders who can come and contribute to this discussion.

For people who are unable to attend, the group is releasing a digital survey available at the QR code printed here or via the group''s Facebook page. For a print copy of the survey people can visit the USDA building between now and June 24. The working group is looking for feedback from producers, landowners, urban residents and any other interested stakeholders.

For more information or to arrange special accommodations to attend, people can contact the Hill County Conservation District at 406-265-6792 or email [email protected].
