Julian Jones of Havre, 26, was arrested on a partner or family member assault charge after someone stopped at the police station Saturday at 1:22 p.m. and asked for assistance and called from 13th Street West at 2:12 p.m. saying the man in the earlier report was at the caller's residence taking items.

Indian Dawn Medicinehorse of Box Elder, 29, was arrested on a shoplifting charge and a Justice or City court warrant, Shayla Medicinehorse of Box Elder, 25, was issued a summons on a shoplifting charge and Shanelle Marie Saddler of Box Elder, 29, was arrested on four Justice or City court warrants after a theft was reported at a U.S. Highway 2 West business at 1:45 p.m. Friday.

Havre Fire Department
Emergency medical technicians responded to three calls Friday, four calls Saturday, three calls Sunday and three calls Monday.

Firefighters responded to three calls over the weekend. Saturday they were called to the 1800 Block of U.S. Highway 2 East for smoke calls, that turned out to be exhaust from equipment being used. The other call was at 11:44 p.m. Sunday for an RV on fire that turned out to be exhaust smoke.
Havre Animal Shelter
The shelter this morning held two 11-week-old kittens, three 6-week-old kittens, four 8-week-old kittens, four 9-week-old kitten and two cats all of unknown gender, three female cats and four male cats. Another four 6-week-old kittens were being cared for in a foster home.

The shelter also held a male mixed-breed dog, three male and one female 6-month-old mixed-breed puppies, a male 7-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female Rottweiler dog and a female mixed-breed dog. And being fostered are two 9-month-old dachshund puppies and a male mixed-breed dog.
