The Havre High boys tennis team has captured the divisional doubles title for years now. And seniors Trenton Maloughney and Caleb Spangler made sure it stayed there. Last Saturday in Glendive, the Blue Pony tandem won the Northeast A boys doubles title defeating the top team from Miles City in the final, to go 3-0 in the tourney. Maloughney became a two-time Northeast A champion, while Spangler is now a two-time All-Conference performer as well.

The Havre High softball team won its first-ever divisional championship last Wednesday in Miles City, as the Blue Ponies beat Lewistown in the championship game. Senior Alyssa Oliver went 2-for-3 at the plate in the chipper with a crucial RBI to help the Ponies prevail. Oliver, who also plays volleyball and on the state champion girls basketball team at HHS, went 1-for-3 in Havre's opener against Miles City last Tuesday as well.
