Justin Phillip Johnson of Havre, 41, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge and a Justice or City court warrant and Alfred James Chandler of Havre, 63, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license after a Third Street caller reported four to five people outside yelling and possibly fighting Monday at 11:45 p.m.

A First Street West business caller reported at 1:50 a.m. today that an intoxicated man was trying to fight with the caller and then kicked a door and broke a window when leaving.

Deputies investigated after a Monday 9:53 p.m. caller at the emergency room asked for assistance with an animal control issue.

Emergency medical technicians responded to three calls Monday.
Havre Animal Shelter
The shelter this morning held three 5-week-old kittens, four 8-week-old kittens and one cat all of unknown gender, five female cats and five male cats. Another four 5-week-old kittens were being cared for in a foster home.

The shelter also held a male mixed-breed dog, three male and one female 6-month-old mixed-breed puppies, a male 7-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female Rottweiler dog and a female mixed-breed dog. And being fostered are two 9-month-old dachshund puppies and a male mixed-breed dog.
