Havre Police Department

Vandalism at a Pepin Park bathroom was reported at 8:12 a.m. Thursday.

Officers investigated a 2:42 p.m. Thursday report from Child Protective Services about a sex offense in the Havre area.

Jaylee Maryn Mount of Havre, 25, was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault, unlawful restraint and tampering with a communication device after a caller on First Street North asked Thursday at 8:35 p.m. for assistance in a disturbance.

At 1:31 a.m. today, a caller reported having gotten a message from a friend on First Street Northeast that he and his children were victims in a domestic disturbance.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies investigated an incident of found or lost property in Hill County at 10 a.m. Thursday.

A Fourth Street West caller reported an assault in North Havre Thursday at 8:31 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to five calls Thursday and one early this morning, and firefighters responding to an 8:41 p.m. report of a gas smell on the 600 Block of 12th Street found no trace of gas and turned the scene over to NorthWestern Energy.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held three 4-week-old kittens, two cats, three 7-week-old kittens and an 8-week-old kitten all of unknown gender, four female cats and three male cats. Another four 5-week-old kittens were being cared for in a foster home.

The shelter also held a female border collie dog, a male mixed-breed dog, three male and one female 6-month-old mixed-breed puppies, a male 7-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female Rottweiler dog, a female mixed-breed dog and a female 24-week-old mixed-breed puppy. And being fostered are two 9-month-old dachshund puppies and a male mixed-breed dog.
