Spring wellness fair set at Havre senior center

The North Central Senior Citizens Center at 2 Second St. in Havre is hosting a Spring Wellness Resource Fair Wednesday, May 18, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“You don’t want to miss it,” a release from the center said.

The event, sponsored by the Hill County Council on Aging and the Montana Telecommunications Access Program, has free admission, and lunch will be provided. It has 12 agencies providing information about their resources and services to assist people.

“Do you have trouble hearing on the phone? Could you benefit from assistive equipment to improve your independence? Do you need assistance finding transportation? Did you know there was a supplemental food program just for seniors?” the release asks. “This is just some of information you will find at the resource fair. So come get some free lunch and maybe even win a prize.”

The release said prize drawings will be held every half hour at the event.
