Officers investigated a Monday 5:14 p.m. report that someone had been hit by a vehicle at 7th Avenue and First Street, and the caller was en route to the emergency room with the victim.

A Monday 11:12 p.m. caller reported that a house on First Street had been broken into within the previous hour.
Hill County Sheriff's Office
A theft, forgery or fraud was reported at 1:07 p.m. Monday on Fifth Street North.
Havre Fire Department
Firefighters responded to a car fire on the 700 Block of Boulevard Avenue after a driver notice smoke in the vehicle, pulled over and called 911 at 2:36 p.m. Monday. The car was a total loss, but the driver was uninjured and the fire did not spread.

Emergency medical technicians and firefighters responded to a Monday 4:49 p.m. report of a gas leak on the 1100 Block of 10th Street West. A gas leak was found, six people were treated and released, and the scene was turned over to NorthWestern Energy.
Havre Animal Shelter
The shelter this morning held three 3-week-old and three 6-week-old kittens of all of unknown gender, four female cats, two male cats and a male 11-month-old kitten. Also, one male 9-week-old kitten was being fostered.

The shelter also held a male 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female border collie dog, three male 6-month-old mixed-breed puppies, a male mixed-breed dog, a female mixed-breed dog and a female Rottweiler dog. A female 21-week-old mixed-breed puppy and a female 22-week-old mixed-breed puppy were being held in foster care. The shelter was also holding separately two male and four female 6-month-old mixed-breed puppies.
