William R. Blake Sr., 72, passed away due to natural causes Wednesday, April 27, 2022.
Cremation has taken place, and arrangements are pending with Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.

Bill was born on June 3, 1949, in Havre to Robert and Mary (Hall) Blake. He was raised in Havre, graduating from Havre High School in 1967. He entered the U.S. Army and served until his honorable discharge. Bill then returned home and began working for Burlington Northern Railroad as a pipe fitter and then later as a conductor. He retired due to an injury sustained at work.
Bill was a man who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and dancing. He really enjoyed secondhand wheeling and dealing, and most weekends could be found at yard sales, looking for his next treasure. For the past several years, Bill wintered in Arizona, returning to Great Falls when the weather became warmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Blake and Mary Hinrichs.
Bill is survived by his children, Krista Shaw of Kalispell, Bill (Brittany Yelland) Blake of Havre, and Brad (Jamie) Blake of Kennewick, WA; four grandchildren, Lucas and Brandon Shaw, and Braden and Jordan Blake, and siblings, Max (Leslie) Hinrichs of Havre and Roberta Reinke of Greeley, CO.
