Obituary - Patricia Marie (Darling) Dorr

Patricia Marie Dorr (née Darling) passed away peacefully April 11, 2022, after a short and sudden illness.

Considered a native of Havre, Montana, Pat was born December 18, 1942, into a military family and grew up in many parts of the country as well as China and Japan. She served two years in the US Air Force as a nurse, ending as a first lieutenant.

Pat married Lawrence Dorr and raised their children in San Francisco, later moving to Chicago after divorcing. She continued to work in nursing until her retirement, when she moved to Salem, Oregon. 

She enjoyed basket weaving, lapidary work, wood carving, and other hand crafts.

Pat is survived by her son, Sean Dorr, and his wife, Andrea; her daughter, Lisa Dorr-Pozos, and four grandsons, William, Ethan, and Connor Dorr and Michael Pozos; her brother Michael Darling and her ex-husband, Lawrence G. Dorr, Jr.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 30, at 2:30 pm at Keizer Funeral Chapel in Keizer, Oregon. In lieu of flowers, her children request donations be made to hospice care facilities or animal charities.
