Havre Beneath the Streets museum is accepting donations of items until the end of the month for live and silent auctions at their May 13 fundraiser dinner.
Organizers said the fundraiser will be a Hawaiian-themed dinner at the Eagles Club. The evening will start with no-host cocktails at 6 p.m. and dinner at 6:30. The event will also include games and a 50/50 raffle, as well as the live and silent auctions. Organizers are working on trying to arrange live music for later in the evening.
The money will be used for repairs to the sidewalk along Second Avenue. The sidewalk, which contains original, historical glass tiles, is part of the ceiling at the west end of the museum. The tiles are normally featured in the tours, but that area has been in need of repairs for a handful of years. Fundraising efforts were slowed by COVID-19 for two years.
Tickets for the dinner are $35.
People can contact the museum about information, tickets and auction items at 406-265-8888 or 120 Third Ave.
