Shores Floral donates to Serving of Hope

from Northern Montana Health Care

Many thanks go out to Shores Floral of Chinook. It recently held a Daffodil Fundriaser for the Serving of Hope Fund, a project of the Northern Montana Health Care Foundation. In the fundraiser, 775 bunches of daffodils were ordered and delivered to Hi-Line residents, netting a donation of $5,425.

Tomi Simonson, owner of Shore's Floral, presented the check to Health Care Foundation Board Member Bonnie Weber Wednesday at Shores Floral.

The Serving of Hope Fund was created from the proceeds of the "Men Who Cook for Women Who Wine" event, held from 2007-2015. The fund provides financial help for residents of the Hi-Line who have to travel due to a serious medical condition.

More details, and an application for the fund, can be found online at https://nmhcare.org/northern-montana-health-care-foundation/#1598630875673-f4b37562-f758 .

Although the Men Who Cook Event is no longer held, the fund has been maintained with donations from the Foundation, the community, and fundraisers like this one. The generosity of folks here on the Hi-Line is unsurpassed and the Foundation is so grateful to be able to continue with this excellent project.
