Havre school board candidate forum set for tonight

The Havre Education Association is holding a forum tonight for the candidates for the Havre School Board with people invited to attend in person or via Zoom.

Two seats are open in this year’s election. The candidates are incumbent Garrit Ophus and Jason Castillion, Tyler Gibson, Shanetrice Allen, Erin Jensen, Myranda Hencz and Christin Hileman.

The forum starts at 7 p.m. in Hensler Auditorium in Montana State University-Northern’s Applied Technology Center.

A release from Havre Education Association said all of the candidates have been invited and all will be asked a series of questions about themselves and their educational vision for the district.
