Havre Police Department

Charlye Jillian Garcia of Havre, 32, was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and on two Justice or City court warrants during a vehicle stop on Sixth Avenue Wednesday at 12:12 p.m.

Tracy Nichole Todoroff of Havre, 21, was issued a summons on a charge of driving without a driver's license after a caller on First Street West reported a pickup truck with the wrong plates on it Wednesday at 1:48 p.m.

A report of a vehicle backing into the caller's car came from First Avenue Wednesday at 5:27 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies made inspections on Parker School Road Wednesday at 10:40 a.m.

Deputies made a sexual or violent offender registry-related check on Burning Wood Drive at 10:47 a.m. Wednesday.

Deputies served a summons while making a sexual or violent offender registry-related check on Parker Canyon Road Wednesday at 7:15 p.m.

Michael Scott Morsette of Fort Hood, Texas, 38, was issued two summonses, each on a shoplifting charge, while deputies were assisting Rocky Boy Police on Laredo Road at 8:28 p.m. Wednesday.

A caller on County Road 451 Southeast reported at 6:44 a.m. today that a car was on its top and two girls were walking on the county road toward town. Montana Highway Patrol incident webpage reported that it was a non-injury crash.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to five calls Wednesday and one early this morning.

Engine No. 3 with two firefighters responded to a Wednesday 3:02 p.m. report of a grass fire at County Road 462 West and U.S. Highway 2 West. Fire Chief Mel Paulson said the fire was small and put out right away.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two 10-month-old kittens and one cat all of unknown gender, three male cats and three female cats.

The shelter also held a male 8-month-old mixed breed puppy, a female mixed-breed 9-month-old puppy, a male 9-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a female 9-month-old St. Bernard puppy, a male 10-month-old corgi puppy, a female 6-month-old shar pei puppy and a female mixed-breed dog. A male 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy was also being held in foster care.
