Havre Police Department

A shoplifting theft was reported Monday at 12:57 p.m. at a First Street business.

A dead deer was reported on Saddle Butte Drive Monday at 3:41 p.m.

Five people were arrested during a 2:22 a.m. vehicle stop today on Second Street West related to a 2:17 a.m. report of a beer theft at a First Street West business. No details on charges were provided.

Michael Timothy Sundquist of Havre, 18, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and a charge of minor in possession after a caller at the hospital reported at 5:01 a.m. today that a patient was "getting riled up."

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A 14-year-old and a 16-year-old, both girls, were each issued a summons on a charge of underage tobacco possession or consumption after a caller at Box Elder Schools made a complaint Monday at 11:42 a.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to one call Monday.

Firefighters responded to a call on the 1200 Block of Cleveland Avenue at 5:40 a.m. today. A power line was arcing in the alley, and the fire crew remained on the scene until a NorthWestern Energy crew had repaired the problem.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two cats and two 10-month-old kittens all of unknown gender, two male cats and two female cats.

The shelter also held a male 8-month-old mixed breed a female mixed-breed 9-month-old puppy, a male 8-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a female 9-month-old St. Bernard puppy, a male 9-month-old corgi puppy, a male mixed breed dog, a female 6-month-old shar pei puppy and a female mixed-breed dog. A male 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy was being held in foster care.
