Local Golf Report: Golf season is here, so is the first From Tee to Green

Welcome Back!

With both Prairie Farms Golf Course and Beaver Creek Golf Course now open officially, I decided it’s time to wake up the From Tee to Green as well. Why not? Even I’ve been golfing once already, and that rarely happens this early.

Nevertheless, here we are with another golf season ahead.

So, with that in mind, I’d like to take this opportunity to let everyone in the area know that, if you want anything published in this column, please email me at [email protected], or [email protected], and I’ll be happy to publish it for you. That includes course information and announcements, league and tournament results, aces, and anything else that might be noteworthy from the golf course.

In other words, if it’s local, and it’s about golf, I want to showcase it in this column.

Speaking of announcements, Prairie Farms men’s and women’s leagues will be starting soon, and both have league meetings upcoming.

The Prairie Farms Men’s League spring meeting will take place Tuesday, April 5, at 6 p.m. in the clubhouse. At least one rep from each team should attend. The Prairie Farms Women’s League Meeting will be held Wednesday, April, 6 at 6 p.m. at the Oxford. Same, at least one rep from each team should attend.

So, there you have it, the first column of the year is in the books. It was short and sweet, but it’s a long season, and I’m excited to bring you all the golf information I can over the next six months.
