Beaver Creek disc golf coures open

Havre Trails has announced that the Normandy Coulee Disc Golf Course is set up for the year and ready to use.

The Normandy Coulee turnoff for parking at the nine-hole course is located in Beaver Creek Park just south of Rotary Pond off Montana Highway 234. The map for the course is at the trailhead and discs can be purchased at Northstar Athletics and the Montana State University-Northern Bookstore.

The group also reminded people that a park permit is required to use the disc golf course. Day permits are $10, and allow for overnight camping. Annual permits are $55, and both day and annual tickets can be purchased online at https://www.bcpark.org or through local vendors. The $35 Golden Pass annual permit for people $65 and older need to be purchased in person with local vendors or at the park office at the park’s Camp Kiwanis. Vendors include North 40 Outfitters, Bing ‘N’ Bob’s, Bear Paw Meats, Stromberg’s Sinclair and the Havre Area Chamber of Commerce, along with the park office.

Also in the announcement, the group thanked Chad Edgar, Luke Donaldson and Jeff Torano for their efforts setting up the course this year.
