Havre Police Department

A First Street Northeast caller asked Thursday at 8:25 a.m. to speak with an officer about suspicious activity.

A caller on 10th Street West reported at 8:35 p.m. Thursday that both plates had been stolen from a vehicle overnight.

--

Two summonses were issued after the school resource officer at Havre Middle School reported a fight Thursday at 9:50 a.m. No details on the charges were provided.

--

Officers investigated a remote breathalyzer device violation reported at 10:24 a.m.

--

A Seventh Avenue caller said Thursday at 11:47 a.m. that a dog had grabbed her by the pants the previous day and she wanted to make a report.

Jalen Jaret Watson of Havre, 20, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants and a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after an officer on First Street noticed a man with outstanding warrants Thursday at 12:33 p.m.

Officers were asked Thursday at 2:36 to assist Cowlitz County, Washington, detectives with some interviews.

A caller asked Thursday at 3:04 p.m. to speak with animal control about a dog that bit her and her dogs.

--

A 10th Avenue caller reported a disturbance at 5:29 p.m. Thursday.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A caller reported vandalism at Optimist Park Thursday at 1:53 p.m.

A shoplifter was reported at North 40 Outfitters Thursday at 5:02 p.m.

--

Thomas Walter Anderson III of Havre, 32, was issued a summons on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and failure to carry proof of vehicle insurance after a caller on U.S. Highway 87 reported an erratic driver near mile marker 101 at 8:30 p.m. Thursday.

Duke Allen McGarvey of Havre, 34, was arrested on four Justice or City court warrant served at 11:08 p.m. Thursday at Hill County Detention Center.

Two arrests were made during a vehicle stop on U.S. Highway 87 at 12:52 a.m. today and when a warrant was served at the detention center at 3:52 a.m. No details were provided on the charges.

Emergency medical technicians responded to one call Thursday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one cat and two 10-month-old kittens all of unknown gender, a female 7-month-old kitten, five male cats and three female cats.

The shelter also held a male mixed-breed dog, a female Labrador retriever dog, a male mixed-breed 9-month-old puppy, a female 9-month-old St. Bernard puppy, a female Labrador retriever, a male 9-month-old corgi puppy, a female 25-week-old shar pei puppy, a male Labrador retriever and a female mixed-breed dog.
