Hi-Line Athletes of the Week

Taya Trottier, Harlem Girls Basketball

Harlem's Taya Trottier has done so much in her time as a Wildcat. Now, she's led them back to the Class B state tournament. At last weekend's Northern B in Cut Bank, Trottier averaged a double-double, including scoring 29 points in a semifinal win over Wolf Point, as the Wildcats finished second at the divisional tournament, and returned to state for the first time in three years. Trottier will be an MSU-Northern Skylight next fall.

Brock Hanford, Fort Benton Wrestling

Endings don't get any better than one Fort Benton's Brock Hanford scripted at last month's Class B-C state wrestling tournament in Billings. Hanford rolled to the B-C 285-pound state championship and helped the Longhorns to a Class C trophy as well. Hanford also became a three-time Class B-C All-State performer in wrestling with his state title, while he's also been Class C All-State two ways in football the last two seasons.
