Havre Middle School names students of the month

Havre Middle School's Sixth-Grade Student of the Month for January is Annabelle Corner.

Annabelle is the daughter of Kevin and Carrie Corner. She has two brothers, Dodson and Jackson Corner.

At the middle school, Annabelle plays the alto saxophone for the band. Outside of school, she participates in soccer. In her free time, she loves cooking, reading and playing games with her friends.

Annabelle is an asset to have in the classroom. She is hardworking and always upbeat. Her personality lights up the school and makes it a great place for everyone.

Annabelle strives to maintain good grades and graduate high school.

January's Seventh-Grade Student of the Month at HMS is Kelsey Acor.

Kelsey is the daughter of Cameron and Angie Acor. She has four siblings, Dakota, Kadyn, Cassidy and Corinne Acor.

At Havre Middle School, Kelsey participates in the school choir and is a member of Jr. Helpers. Outside of school, she is very involved with the youth group at her church. In her spare time, she is learning how to speak French and enjoys spending time with her friends and family.

Kelsey is an extremely polite and kindhearted student. She exhibits excellent behavior and is diligent to her studies. Her dedication to excel academically makes her a role model to all students.

Kelsey's future goals are to attend college, pursue a career with the CIA and travel the world.

Havre Middle School's Eighth-Grade Student of the Month for January is Aidan Harkins.

Aidan is the son of John and Amber Harkins. He has three sisters, Cadence Harkins, Alexis Daulton and Ehver Harkins.

Aidan plays the trumpet in the middle school band. Outside of school, he is loves ice skating, running and swimming. Aidan also enjoys spending time with family and friends.

In the classroom, Aidan has a wonderful attitude and is very helpful to others. He has a natural talent for art and an eye for detail. Aidan's positive character represents what it means to have "Pony Pride."

In the future, Aidan plans to attend college and become a scientist or writer.
