Havre Police Department

A caller at First Street and Fifth Avenue reported Tuesday at 8:20 a.m. finding a blower on the road that had fallen off a truck.

A hit and run crash was reported at a First Street business Tuesday at 10:51 a.m.

--

A two-vehicle crash involving a Dodge Ram and a car was reported on Third Avenue Tuesday at 11:57 a.m.

--

Officers provided transport at Hill County Detention Center Tuesday at 12:23 p.m.

--

Gerald Alex Belgarde Jr. of Havre, 39, was arrested on a pick up and hold order served Tuesday at 2:31 p.m. at the police station.

Officers investigated a theft, forgery or fraud reported Tuesday at 3:47 p.m. at a U.S. Highway 2 Northwest business.

--

Ronald Brian Folk of Havre, 25, was arrested on charges of failure to give notice of an accident and failure to stop and remain at an accident after a caller on 11th Street reported a hit and run crash Tuesday at 4:54 p.m.

A Second Street caller reported Tuesday at 5:21 p.m. that vehicle had been struck during the night.

--

Michael Vincent Giles of Havre, 50, was issued a summons on a charge of violation of a no contact order reported at 7:43 p.m. Tuesday on Seventh Avenue.

Officers were asked Tuesday at 7:53 p.m. to provide assistance to a Sixth Avenue caller.

Lana Standing Chief of Havre, 41, was issued a summons on a criminal contempt charge related to a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation reported at 8:02 p.m. Tuesday at the police station.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported Tuesday at 12:40 p.m. at a U.S. Highway 2 West business.

A caller at Sixth Street North facility reported suspicious activity Tuesday at 7:50 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to three calls Tuesday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two cats and two kittens of unknown gender, a female 6-month-old kitten, five male cats, three female cats and a male 23-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held two male mixed-breed dogs, a female 11-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female 6-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female 10-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a female pit bull-border collie cross and a female 20-week-old puppy. Also held separately were a male 18-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a female 14-week-old mixed-breed puppy and one male mixed-breed dog.
