Havre Police Department

A 15-year-old girl from Havre was issued a summons on charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle, reckless driving, driving under the influence and seat belt violation after a caller on 14th Street reported Monday at 3:54 p.m. that a vehicle hit a pole in front of Sunnyside school and the driver may be injured or having a seizure.

Sean Odell Bryan Ross of Detroit, Michigan, 32, was arrested on a vandalism charge after a caller at a Second Street business reported at 1:24 a.m. today that a customer just kicked in a door.

Clarissa Mae Messerly of Havre, 30, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault after a caller on Ninth Avenue reported at 3:36 a.m. that people next door were fighting.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies were asked at 2:13 p.m. Monday to assist with a Second Street West incident.

Michael Jay Stump of Havre, 47, was arrested on charges of DUI, driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license, failure to yield right of way at a stop sign and open container in vehicle on highway during a vehicle stop on Second Street at 9:45 p.m.

Deputies initiated a check related to the sexual or violent offender registry on Haystack Road Sunday at 2:55 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to six calls Monday and two calls early this morning.

Firefighters responded Monday at 3:54 p.m. along with an ambulance to a vehicle crash on the 600 Block of 13th Street.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two cats and two kittens of unknown gender, five male cats, three female cats and a male 23-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held two male mixed-breed dogs, a female 11-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female 6-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female pit bull-border collie cross and a female 20-week-old puppy. Also held separately were a male 18-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a female 14-week-old mixed-breed puppy and one male mixed-breed dog.
