State and local COVID-19 update, Feb. 18, 2022

Blaine County Health Department said in its update Thursday that it was notified a new COVID-19-related death with 16 new cases, 18 met the criteria to be considered recovered, 5 active hospitalizations, 2,299 total cases and the county has had 31 deaths.

Hill County Health Department said in its update Thursday that 7 new cases were reported and 5 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 74 active cases in the county, 1 active hospitalization, 4,580 total cases and the county has had 71 deaths.

Rocky Boy Health Center, also reported on the Chouteau or Hill county reports, reported Thursday 3 new cases and none met the criteria to be considered recovered with 52 active, no active hospitalizations and 1,654 total cases. The reservation has reported 10 deaths.

Fort Belknap Indian Community, also listed in the Blaine or Phillips county numbers, did not have a data update by printing deadline today.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 4 active, 382 total cases, 3 deaths.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 6 active, 958 total cases, 14 deaths.

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 894 new cases, 3,690 active cases, 197 hospitalizations and 105 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 261,722 cases.
