Local Bowling Report: Harvest Moon's The Challenge Tournament results are in

Ten Pin Chatter

There has been two tournaments the last two weeks. I have the results.

First the results of The Challenge Tournament. From the step ladder event finalist were, 5th place, Ryne Antley, 4th place, Kyle Surber, 3rd place, Brad Bender, 2nd place, Shawn Mariani and the winner, Jason McDonald. Everyone had a good time. There were some real good games bowled and some real lousy games bowled, but that’s how The Challenge Tournament works. I had several of those games myself.

On the 6th the kids league had their JR/Adult no-tap tournament. From watching, parents and kids were really enjoying themselves. JR/MJR 1st place was Cash and Chad Schubert. Preps 1st place was Kortlynn and Tiffany Kimberling. Bantams 1st place was William and Scott McLean. And last but not least the Peewees 1st place was Rawley and Eric Fanning. Some of these kids showed their parents how it’s suppose to be done. I bet they decide to start practicing a little more.

Harvest Moon Lanes would like to give a big shout of thanks to all who participated in these tournaments.

I would like to remind all league bowlers, starting the Feb. 15, Tuesday is the first day of THE CITY TOURNAMENT. Teams, doubles and or singles maybe bowled during the league nights, Wednesday Feb. 16, Thursday Feb. 17 and Sunday Feb. 20. Saturday Feb. 20 is open for any event and there are shifts on Sunday.  There is a sign up sheet at the lanes. So get out there and sign up. Promote your sponsor proudly. Thank you and until next week, GOOD LUCK AND GOOD BOWLING.
