State and local COVID-19 update, Feb. 16, 2022

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 929 new cases, 4,129 active cases, 230 hospitalizations and 3,091 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 259,701 cases.

Hill County Health Department said in its update Tuesday that 8 new cases were reported and 57 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 1 active hospitalization, 92 active cases, 4,704 total cases and the county has had 71 deaths.

Blaine County Health Department said in its update Tuesday that it was notified of 50 new cases from Saturday through Tuesday and 53 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 1 new hospitalization, 6 total active hospitalizations, 98 active cases, 2,270 total cases and the county has had 30 deaths.

Rocky Boy Health Center, also reported on the Chouteau or Hill County reports, reported Tuesday 5 new cases and 51 met the criteria to be considered recovered with no active hospitalizations, 66 active cases and 1,550 totalcases. The reservation has reported 10 deaths.

Fort Belknap Indian Community, also listed in the Blaine or Phillips county numbers, reported Tuesday 15 new cases and 20 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 51 active cases, 4 active hospitalizations and 1,255 total cases. The reservation has had 14 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had 1 new case, 4 active, 380 total cases, 3 deaths.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had 4 new cases, 98 active, 951 total cases, 14 deaths.
