State and local COVID-19 update, Feb. 15, 2022

Liberty County had a third COVID-19-related death listed this morning in the the state update. The update listed 2 new cases in the county, 4 active, 379 total cases.

Hill County Health Department said in its update Monday that 36 new cases were reported from Saturday through Monday and 44 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 141 active cases in the county, 1 active hospitalization, 4,696 total cases and the county has had 71 deaths.

No update was available this morning from the Blaine County Health Department.

Rocky Boy Health Center, also reported on the Chouteau or Hill county reports, reported Monday 14 new cases and 11 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 112 active, no active hospitalizations and 1,545 cases. The reservation has reported 10 deaths.

Fort Belknap Indian Community, also listed in the Blaine or Phillips county numbers, reported Monday 25 new cases from Friday through Monday and 27 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 56 active cases, 2 new hospitalizations, 5 active hospitalizations and 1,240 total cases. The reservation has had 14 deaths.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had 7 new cases, 9 active, 947 total cases, 14 deaths.

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 862 new cases, 4,140 active cases, 236 hospitalizations and 3,083 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 258,765 cases.
