Ice cover remains on Bear Paw Lake Monday with some snow dusting the hillside. The wintry cover may not last with highs in the region predicted to be in the 30s, 40s and even 50s in the next week. Despite this, National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration's Climate Prediction Center still predicts an above-average chance for the region to see below-normal temparatures in February, swtiching to an equal chance of above-normal and below-normal temperatures from March through May.
