Havre Police Department

A written or verbal warning was issued to an Eighth Street resident after an officer noticed Friday at 11:46 a.m. that chickens were being kept at the residence.

A Third Street caller asked Friday at 3:51 p.m. to speak with an officer because she thought she might have been involved in a Medicare scam.

--

Brandon Ray Eagleman Sr. of Great Falls, 32, was arrested on six Justice or City court warrants after an officer investigated suspicious activity on First Street Saturday at 2:03 a.m.

Havre Public Works was notified after someone reported at the police station Saturday at 9:17 a.m. that a pothole at Grant Avenue and 11th Street West had opened up again.

Courtney Joann Boese of Bigfork, 19, was issued a summons on charges of reckless driving and failing to give notice of an accident after a caller at a First Street West business reported Saturday at 10:51 a.m. seeing on surveillance tapes that a vehicle had hit a utility pole Thursday and left the scene. Boese was issued the citations during a 1:12 p.m. Sunday vehicle stop on 11th Street West.

An aggressive dog on 17th Street West was taken to the animal shelter Saturday at 8:11 p.m.

Officers were asked Sunday at 2:14 a.m. to provide assistance to Blaine County with locating a vehicle.

A caller on Bonine Drive reported Sunday at 11:49 a.m. that four 22-inch tires were stolen out of a horse trailer.

Leona Marie Chiefstick of Box Elder, 55, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants after a Third Avenue caller made a noise complaint Sunday at 11:06 p.m.

Kelissa L. Sutherland of Box Elder, 21, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault and on six Justice or City court warrants after a Second Street caller asked Sunday at 11:41 p.m. for assistance.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A caller reported a vehicle theft at a U.S. Highway 2 East business at 9:10 a.m. Friday.

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported by a County Road 90 South caller Friday at 12:33 p.m.

--

A Friday 7:33 p.m. caller at the emergency room reported an assault.

--

A 15-year-old in Box Elder was issued a summons on a charge of minor in possession after a caller at Box Elder High School reported a juvenile status offense Saturday at 8:51 p.m.

Jasmin Rose Laforge of Havre, 26, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants served on Old Post Road Saturday at 9:09 p.m.

Daniel Joseph Mikulecky of Rudyard, 38, was arrested on of partner or family member assault, three counts; obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, and tampering with a communication device after a Rudyard caller reported a disturbance Sunday at 9:21 p.m.

--

Deputies investigated suspicious activity at Wildhorse Road and River Road North at 4:57 a.m. today.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to four calls Friday, four calls Saturday and three calls Sunday.

Firefighters responded to two calls over the weekend. The first call, Friday at 6:36 p.m. on the 800 Block of Fourth Street was for a suspected downed power line, but is was a cable and the company was notified. The other was a Sunday 11:53 a.m. fire alarm on the 100 Block of Fourth Street that turned out to be burnt food, and the alarm was reset.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held three cats and one 6-month-old kitten all of unknown gender, five male cats and four female cats.

The shelter also held two male mixed-breed dogs, a male pit bull terrier, a female shepherd, a female 10-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female 6-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a male Chihuahua, a male 8-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a female pit bull-border collie cross and a female 18-week-old mixed-breed puppy. Also held separately were a male 16-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a female 12-week-old mixed-breed puppy, one male mixed-breed dog and a female 21-week-old border collie puppy.
