Kevin Kelly Mahle of Havre, 56, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault after a caller on Third Street West asked for assistance Wednesday at 10:10 a.m. and deputies made a subsequent vehicle stop on the 100 Block of U.S. Highway 2 East
Havre Fire Department
Emergency medical technicians responded to three calls Wednesday and two calls early this morning. And firefighters responded Wednesday at 4:31 a.m. to an alarm on the 10 Block of Third Street West, where the system alarm was likely activated by a leak in a sprinkler head in the basement.
Havre Animal Shelter
The shelter this morning held four cats and one 6-month-old kitten all of unknown gender, six male cats, six female cats and one female 10-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held three male dogs, a male pit bull terrier, a male 15-week-old puppy, a female shepherd, a female 10-month-old puppy, a female 10-week-old puppy, a female 6-month-old puppy, a male Chihuahua, a female 7-month-old puppy, a male 8-week-old puppy, a female pit bull-border collie cross, a female 18-week-old puppy and a female 21-week-old border collie. Also held separately were three female and one male mixed-breed dogs and a female 11-week-old mixed-breed puppy.
