Shane Patacsil, Havre High Boys Basketball

Havre High sophomore Shane Patacsil is making big points for the Blue Pony boys basketball team. On the road this past weekend, Patacsil scored 11 points in a tough loss to Glendive, then bounced back to add 15 points in a win over Sidney Saturday afternoon. Patacsil is averaging in double figures for the Blue Ponies, where he also competes in golf in the fall, and track and field in the spring.

Hallie Neibauer, Chinook Girls Basketball

In her sophomore season of hoops, Chinook’s Hallie Neibauer is coming on strong. Neibauer scored 20 points in Chinook’s 74-42 win over the Big Sandy Pioneers last Thursday night. Neibauer is one of the top scorers in the District 9C after she earned All-Conference honors as a freshman a year ago. Neibauer was also an All-Conference volleyball player for the Sugarbeeters this past fall.
