State and local COVID-19, update Jan. 26, 2022

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 3,072 new cases, 16,125 active cases, 126 hospitalizations and 2,990 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 233,056 cases.

Hill County Health Department said in its update Tuesday that 66 new cases were reported and 32 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 235 active cases in the county, 3 active hospitalizations, 4,263 total cases and the county has had 71 deaths.

Blaine County Health Department said in its update Tuesday that it was notified of 47 new cases and 43 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 172 active cases in the county and 1 person required hospitalization. The county has had 1,923 total cases and 29 deaths.

Rocky Boy Health Center, also reported on the Chouteau or Hill County reports, reported Tuesday 14 new cases 9 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 133 active cases, 2 active hospitalizations and 1,518 total cases. The reservation has had 10 deaths.

Fort Belknap Indian Community, also listed in the Blaine or Phillips county numbers, reported Tuesday 23 new cases and 36 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 111 active cases, no active hospitalizations and 1,040 total cases. The reservation has had 13 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had 7 new cases, 17 active, 341 total cases, 2 deaths.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had 2 new cases, 5 active, 873 total cases, 12 deaths.
