BOZEMAN — Registration for the 2022 Montana Soil Health Symposium has been extended to Feb. 2, 2022, including special pricing for students and interns enrolled in educational agriculture programs.
The Montana Association of Conservation Districts and Natural Resources Conservation Service are hosting the 2022 Montana Soil Health Symposium Feb. 9-10 at the Billings Hotel and Convention Center. The event will feature Allen Williams, Ph.D, from Understanding Ag LLC and Dan Kittredge with the Bionutrient Food Association. Plus, a pre-conference family business workshop with Jolene Brown will be held Feb. 8.
The Soil Health Symposium provides an opportunity for farmers, ranchers, gardeners and technical specialists from all different landscapes, generations and levels of experience to network and share their stories, successes and lessons learned in the pursuit of soil management. From digging into the details of crop nutrients and magnifying what makes up the soil ecosystem to wrangling with the beef business and the connections between healthy soils and healthy economics — there’s something for everyone in the agricultural field.
