State and local COVID-19 update, Jan. 24, 2022

Hill County Health Department said in its update Friday that 50 new cases were reported and 73 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 267 active cases in the county and 1 active hospitalization. Hill County has had 71 deaths.

Blaine County Health Department said in its update Friday that it was notified of 35 new cases and 11 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 207 active cases in the county and 1,817 total cases. Blaine County has had 29 deaths.

Rocky Boy Health Center, also reported on the Chouteau or Hill county reports, reported Friday 26 new cases and 38 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 173 active cases and 1,482 total cases and 1 active hospitalization. The reservation has had 10 deaths.

Fort Belknap Indian Community, also listed in the Blaine or Phillips county numbers, reported it was notified Friday of 26 new cases and 4 met the criteria to be considered recovered, with 151 active cases, 958 total cases, no active hospitalizations and 13 deaths

Numbers on the state level and from Chouteau and Liberty counties were not available by printing deadline today.

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org , operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.
