Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian on First Street West Tuesday at 1:05 p.m.

Chan Bigknife of Box Elder, 49, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault after a domestic disturbance was reported in progress at 5 p.m. Tuesday on Ninth Avenue.

A hit and run vehicle crash was reported on U.S. Highway 2 Northwest Tuesday at 5:12 p.m.

--

A caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business asked for assistance at 3:15 a.m. today removing a man from the premises.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies investigated a sexual or violent offender registry complaint on Haystack Loop at 12:35 p.m. Tuesday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to four calls Tuesday and one call early this morning.

Firefighters responded Tuesday at 10:40 a.m. to a carbon monoxide alarm on the 1800 Block of First Street, but the alarm was canceled while they were en route.

Firefighters accompanied an ambulance to a vehicle crash on the 10 Block of Montana Avenue Tuesday at 1:08 p.m.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held three cats and one 9-month-old kitten all of unknown gender, four female cats, five male cats, and one male 6-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held a male mixed-breed dog, three female mixed-breed dogs, a male German shepherd, a female shepherd, a male corgi, a female 24-week-old mixed-breed puppy and a female 15-week-old mixed-breed puppy. Also held separately are five 7-week-old puppies, two 6-week-old puppies and a female 9-month-old puppy, all mixed-breeds.
