Havre High School’s speech and debate program is still seeking a few judges for the Class A speech, drama and debate tournament this weekend.
Havre head coach Tim Leeds said the response so far has been good, but some people have conflicting events and the Havre team has lost contact with some judges as they change contact information.
Leeds said positions for judging still are open in all events, with a special need for speech and drama events at 2 p.m.
Rounds are 8:30 a.m., 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. for debate and 9 and 10:30 a.m., noon and 2 p.m. for speech and drama.
The tournament has more than 150 Class A students from nine high schools in eastern Montana scheduled to compete for a chance to travel to Corvallis for the Class A speech, debate and drama state tournament the following weekend.
All Class A events are scheduled for the divisional tournament.
Leeds said a judging clinic is being offered Wednesday at 6 p.m. in Room 203 at the high school, and people can email him at [email protected] with questions or to offer to judge.
An online judging registration form also is available at http://bit.ly/2022HavreDivisionals .
