Havre Police Department

A vehicle crash was reported on First Street Monday at 9:27 a.m.

A caller at a First Street business reported Monday at 5:30 p.m. catching a shoplifter on video and asked to have the person trespassed from the premises.

Officers opened an investigation after someone stopped at the police station Monday at 5:45 p.m. asking for assistance.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Sheriff's office dispatch log reported no arrests, summonses or investigations in the 24-hour reporting period.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to five calls Monday, and firefighters responded to a 3:07 p.m. alarm on the 800 Block of Fourth Street, which turned out to be a false alarm.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one 9-month-old kitten of unknown gender, four female cats, six male cats, one male 6-month-old kitten and a male 7-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held two male and two female 9-week-old mixed-breed puppies, a male German shepherd, two female mixed-breed dogs, a female shepherd, a female 23-week-old mixed-breed puppy and a female 14-week-old mixed-breed puppy. Also held separately are five 6-week-old puppies, two 4-week-old puppies and a female 9-month-old puppy, all mixed-breeds.
