Havre Police Department

A two-vehicle, non-injury crash was reported in the Lincoln Avenue alley Friday at 11:44 a.m.

A caller reported a two-vehicle, non-injury crash at Fifth Street and Third Avenue Friday at 12:24 p.m.

A caller reported crashing a vehicle and possibly needing medical assistance on Ninth Avenue at 12:52 p.m. Friday.

Officers investigated a hit and run crash involving a maroon Chevrolet pickup truck on 11th Street West that slid around a corner, struck a black car and then left south on Boulevard Avenue which was reported at 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Friday at 6:13 p.m., a caller on First Street reported a two-vehicle crash on First Street.

Officers investigated a 24/7 Sobriety Program no-show reported Saturday at 8 a.m.

A 12th Avenue caller reported Saturday at 11:56 p.m. finding a man in her home.

Lana Standing Chief was arrested during a First Street vehicle stop Sunday at 8:19 a.m. on a criminal contempt charge related to a 24/7 sobriety Program violation reported at 8:01 a.m.

Kassidy Ann Pursley of Havre, 18, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, minor in possession and careless driving after a Ninth Avenue caller reported at 12:41 a.m. today that a truck slid into the neighbor's vehicle and is stuck but trying to leave.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies were asked Friday at 9:28 a.m. to assist someone on Washington Avenue.

Flint Walker Blackwolf of Box Elder, 34, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and a state District Court warrant served at Hill County Detention Center Friday at 12:09 p.m.

Daniel John David Alex of Hingham, 37, was served state District Court warrant at the detention center Friday at 12:10 p.m.

A warrant was served at the detention center Friday at 1:16 p.m., but no details on the charges were provided.

A Friday 1:23 p.m. report of a vehicle crash involving a Jeep and truck which had both left the scene at Second Street West and Eighth Avenue West was referred to another agency.

Luis Mario Ventura of Concord, California, 25, was arrested on a charge of trespass to property after deputies were called Friday at 6:18 p.m. to assist Rocky Boy Police Department.

An automobile theft was reported at a U.S. Highway 2 West business Friday at 7:07 p.m.

A Laredo Road caller reported someone was trying to break into their home Saturday at 12:29 a.m.

Heidi Marie Laforge of Havre, 23, was arrested on charges of criminal endangerment, reckless driving, fleeing or eluding a peace officer, speeding and failing to drive to the right of the roadway after a high-speed chase from Blaine County through Havre to west of town. Blaine County Sheriff's Office asked for assistance Saturday at 10:03 p.m. with a pursuit that was headed westbound on U.S. Highway 2 into Hill County. Havre Police successfully deployed spike strips on the east edge of Havre, Hill County Undersheriff Stan Martin said, but the Laforge continued driving at a high rate of speed through town. The vehicle's tire separated from the rim on the hill at the west end of town, but was able to continue until Laforge stopped at mile marker 373 on Highway 2 west of Havre. The driver was the only occupant of the vehicle. No one was hurt in the incident.

David Richard Place of Rudyard, 54, was arrested on six Justice or City court warrants and charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license, driving without vehicle insurance, expired registration, and two traffic crimes after a Rudyard caller phoned in a complaint Sunday at 5:36 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to seven calls Friday, two calls Saturday and two calls Sunday.

Firefighters and an ambulance responded to a vehicle crash on the 200 Block of Ninth Avenue Friday at 12:53 p.m., but no extrication or medical aid was required.

Firefighters responded to a rubbish fire on the 300 Block of Fifth Street North Friday at 4:36 p.m. and the fire was put out because it was nearly dark and no permit had been obtained.

--

Firefighters were called to help retrieve a cat from a tree Sunday at 3:20 p.m. on Third Street, but were unable to assist because power lines were running through the tree.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one 9-month-old kitten of unknown gender, six female cats, six male cats, one male 6-month-old kitten, one male 8-month-old kitten and a male 7-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held two male and two female 9-week-old mixed-breed puppies, a male German shepherd, two female mixed-breed dogs, a female shepherd, a female 23-week-old mixed-breed puppy and a female 14-week-old puppy. Also held separately are five 6-week-old puppies, two 4-week-old puppies and a female 9-month-old puppy, all mixed-breeds.
