State and local COVID-19 update, Jan. 6, 2022

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 1,194 new cases, 5,460 active cases, 146 hospitalizations and 2,916 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 201,720 cases.

Hill County Health Department said in its update Wednesday that 16 new cases were reported and 2 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 39 active cases in the county, 3,597 total cases and 71 deaths.

Blaine County Health Department said in its update Wednesday that it was notified of 1 new case and 1 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 16 active cases in the county, 1,566 total cases and 29 deaths.

Rocky Boy Health Center, also reported on the Chouteau or Hill county reports, reported Wednesday 10 new cases and none met the criteria to be considered recovered with 33 active cases and 1,243 total cases and no active hospitalizations. The reservation has had 10 deaths.

Fort Belknap Indian Community, also listed in the Blaine or Phillips county numbers, reported Wednesday no new cases and none met the criteria to be considered recovered, with 6 active cases on the reservation, 818 total cases, no active hospitalizations and 13 deaths

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had 5 new cases, 5active, 274 total cases, 2 deaths.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had 1 new case, 10 active, 806 total cases, 9 deaths.
