The hunting of male mountain lions in hunting districts 416, 446, 451, 452 and 454 in north-central Montana closed at one-half hour after sunset Saturday, Dec. 18.
The order halting the hunt came shortly after Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks officials received word that the pre-established harvest quota for the combined districts had been met.

The hunting of female mountain lions in hunting districts 350 and 370 southwest Montana also closed at one-half hour after sunset Saturday, Dec. 18.
