A caller at a First Street business asked officers Saturday at 3:15 p.m. to speak with residents on Second Avenue who keep taking carts from the business.

A caller on Main Street reported Saturday at 5:07 p.m. that his vehicle was struck from behind and he pulled over, but the other person kept going.

Paul Michael Turner of Havre, 31, was arrested on a charge of criminal contempt related to a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation reported at the police station at 7:06 p.m. Saturday.

Officers investigated a 10:37 p.m. Saturday report from a juvenile about a disturbance on Fifth Street.

Aimee Lee Montes of Box Elder, 38, was arrested on charges of obstructing a police officer or other public servant and false reports to law enforcement authorities after callers at a First Street establishment reported Sunday at 8:37 p.m. that a woman was acting strangely and asked for a welfare check on her.

Brandon Thomas Gopher of Box Elder, 39, was issued a summons on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license during a vehicle stop on First Street West Sunday at 9:01 p.m.

Officers investigated an 11:15 p.m. Sunday report of someone being threatened by a grandson.
Hill County Sheriff's Office
A caller reported Sunday at 3:13 p.m. that the hill on 16th Avenue West needed to be sanded and the roads department was notified.

Crystal Blue Benton of Great Falls, 38, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license after a caller on U.S. Highway 2 Northeast reported a stolen car Sunday at 5:25 p.m.
Havre Fire Department
Emergency medical personnel responded to five calls Friday, six calls Saturday and five calls Sunday. An ambulance accompanied firefighters Saturday at 9:20 p.m. to the 400 Block of 19th Street in response to a carbon monoxide alarm at a single family dwelling. No gas was detected at the home.
Havre Animal Shelter
The shelter this morning held two 6-month-old kittens of unknown gender, seven male cats, five female cats, a female 17-week-old kitten and one male 7-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held a male shepherd, a male 10-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a male pit bull terrier, a male German shepherd, three female mixed-breed dogs, a male Labrador-pit bull terrier cross and a female 20-week-old mixed-breed puppy.

A girl was born Friday, Dec. 17, 2021, to Holley Leo and Bradley Perkins of Havre.
