Hi-Line Athletes of the Week

Randy Tommerup

Havre High senior Randy Tommerup is wasting little time getting going in wrestling season. He went 4-2 at last weekend's Mining City Duals, wrestling both at 205 and 285 for the Blue Ponies. One week earlier, Tommerup also captured the 205-pound championship in his last Havre Invitational. Tommerup was also an All-Conference lineman for the Blue Pony football team last fall.

Eva Yeadon

The Big Sandy Pioneers got off to a 2-0 start to their basketball season, and Eva Yeadon was a big reason why. The Pioneers beat Sunburst Friday night, and she scored 16 points. Then in Big Sandy's win over Dutton-Brady last Saturday night, Yeadon scored a game-high 19 points, and grabbed seven rebounds as the Pioneers are now off to their best start in more than a decade.
