Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a vehicle crash on Montana Avenue reported Monday at 9:04 a.m.

An 11th Street caller reported at 3:30 p.m. Monday damage to a vehicle, but added that it was unknown when the damage occurred.

A two-vehicle crash was reported Monday at 3:58 p.m. in the alley south of First Street West.

--

Joseph Raymond Moore of Havre, 29, was arrested on charges of resisting arrest, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and criminal mischief vandalism after a 14th Avenue caller reported someone was kicking a door in Monday at 8:30 p.m.

Tiffiney Dewitz of Havre, 36, was issued a summons on a charge of vicious dog after a caller on Seventh Avenue reported that dogs had killed some rabbits.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Sheriff's office dispatch log reported no arrests, summonses or investigations in the 24-hour reporting period.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Monday and two calls early this morning.

Firefighters responded to two to false alarms one at a multi-family dwelling on the 1300 Block of Jefferson Avenue Monday at 5:28 p.m. and the other on the 1300 Block of First Street at 2:36 a.m. today.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one cat and two kittens of unknown gender, six male cats, five female cats, a female 16-week-old kitten, and one male and one female 7-month-old kittens.

The shelter also held a male shepherd, a male 10-month-old mixed-breed puppy, two male pit bull terriers, a male German shepherd, two female mixed-breed dogs, a female 19-week-old mixed-breed puppy and a female pit bull terrier.

Births

A boy was born Monday, Dec. 13, 2021, to Laura Buffalo and Moses Bigknife of Havre.
