Tehya Vauthier is one of Havre High School's students of the month for November 2021.
Tehya's parents are John and Shannon Vauthier and the family's other children are Gabe, Jocelyn, Mari and Madison.
Tehya is a senior who is active in theater, choir and Hi-Liters and works at the Montana State University-Northern theater, acting and working with technology. Tehya's interests include painting, poetry and choir.
Lindsey Ratliff, who nominated Tehya, said "Tehya is a very reliable, helpful and creative student. Tehya takes time when completing art projects and always puts in maximum effort. Having Tehya in class provides a good role model for other students on how to take initiative on projects and properly use classroom materials. Tehya has always been a beacon of morality in their treatment of other students and strives to make sure all students feel included and valued. I truly enjoy having Tehya in class and know they will be successful at whatever career path they choose after high school."
In the future, Tehya plans to pursue a career in foreign language as an American Sign Language interpreter.
Brenna Hanson is a Havre High School student of the month for November 2021.
She is the daughter of Brian and Shawna Hanson and has two siblings, Wyatt and Ashlynn.
Brenna is a freshman who is active in softball, swimming, Skills USA and student council. Outside of school, she enjoys playing softball, camping, hunting and hanging out with friends and family.
Tyler Kropf, who nominated Brenna, said she is, "outstanding in small engines class. I rarely give out extra credit, but she has earned it and thus has over 100 percent for the first quarter. Brenna shows her understanding of technical theory and hands-on skills and application. I appreciate her enthusiasm for the subject and hope to see her continue to take shop courses."
In the future, Brenna plans to attend college.
