The Havre Public Schools Education Foundation will be hosting a New Year’s Eve Fundraising Celebration Friday Dec. 31, at 7 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Club of the Hi-Line in Havre.
“This New Year’s Eve Celebration will be a Montana Formal Affair with the doors opening at 7 p.m., dinner served at 8 p.m. and music starting at 9 p.m.,” Havre Public Schools Education Foundation Executive Director Amanda Meyer said. “A champagne toast will occur to ring in the new year. Chef Abe Risho, the former owner of the Silk Road in Missoula, will be the guest chef for the evening and the John Gimberling Sextet will be entertaining that night with big band and other standards.
“Tables of eight for the event are $1,200 will all beverages included throughout the evening or $1,000 for a table of eight without beverages included,” she continued. “Tickets must be purchased in advance by calling me at 1-406-395-8550 ext. 6715 or e-mailing me at [email protected]. If individuals or businesses already have plans that night and would like to still sponsor a table, the foundation will donate their table so Havre Public Schools employees can attend the event.”
“We are excited to be hosting this new event on New Year’s Eve,” Havre Public Schools Education Foundation Chairman Kyle Leeds added. “The Havre and Hi-Line communities have been asking for a premiere New Year’s Eve event and we are happy to host this inaugural gala to raise funds to continue the great work of the Havre Public Schools Education Foundation.”
“The funds that we raise at the New Year’s Eve celebration will allow the Havre Public Schools Education Foundation to fulfill our mission of assisting the students, faculty, staff, and administration of the Havre Public Schools.” Meyers said.
