Havre Police Department

Two summonses were issued related to a report of an assault at Havre Middle School Monday at 12:15 p.m. No details on charges were provided.

Someone stopped at the police station Monday at 2:45 p.m. to report charges made by someone else on his credit card.

A caller at a Third Street business reported Monday at 3:38 p.m. that money had been stolen.

Officers investigated a Monday 4:32 p.m. report that a house on Second Street Northeast had been broken into and items stolen.

A stolen PS5 was reported Monday at 11:55 p.m. on Buttery Drive.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies were asked Monday at 2:48 p.m. to assist someone on Smithville Road.

Caleb Logan Denny of Box Elder, 24, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served at Hill County Detention Center Monday at 11:01 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Monday, one call accompanying a fire crew on what turned out to be a false alarm triggered when a fire alarm was being tested on the 10 Block of 13th Street West at 3:31 p.m.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two cats of unknown gender, five female cats, four male cats, one male 16-week-old kitten and one male and one female 7-month-old kittens.

The shelter also held a male shepherd, a male 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy, two male pit bull terriers and two female mixed-breed dogs. Also, a male and a female 15-week-old mixed-breed puppies were being held separately.

Births

A girl was born Sunday, Nov. 28, 2021, to Julia and Dan Waldner of Havre.
