VA service officers to conduct outreach

Veteran Service Officers for the Montana Veterans Affairs will be visiting the following locations and times to meet with veterans who are interested in applying for benefits. Veterans interested in applying for benefits need to bring a copy of their discharge paperwork, DD214, with them.

Wednesday, Dec. 1

Shelby — Courthouse, 9:30-11:30 a.m. 

Cut Bank — Glacier County Courthouse Annex, Room 19, 1:30-4 p.m. 

  Browning — Due to COVID-19 restrictions, veterans can meet in Cut Bank, or call the Veterans Affairs Office for assistance by phone, 406-265-4225.  

Individually Scheduled

Glasgow/Malta — Veterans can call the Veterans Affairs Office for assistance by phone, 406-265-4225.

  Fort Belknap — Due to COVID-19 restrictions, veterans can schedule an appointment at the Havre office, 406-265-4225.

If bad weather exists on days of travel, people can stay tuned to the local news media for updated information regarding the outreach schedule.

Also, Veteran Service officers will visit nursing homes and assisted living centers by appointment only. Call 406-265-4225 if interested.
