State and local COVID-19 update, Nov. 22, 2021

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 511 new cases, 5,911 active cases, 266 hospitalizations and 2,567 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 188,505 cases.

Hill County, reported on the state tracking map update this morning, had 11 new cases, 23 active, 65 deaths. The state update total for the county did not match numbers from the Hill County Health Department, which reported Thursday was 3,464 at that time.

Blaine County Health Department said in its update Friday that it was notified of 1 new case and 9 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 10 active cases in the county. 2 people were hospitalized. The county has had 27 deaths and 1,438 total cases.

Fort Belknap Indian Community, also listed in the Blaine or Phillips county numbers, reported Friday no new cases and 4 active cases on the reservation, 1 active hospitalizations. The reservation has had 12 deaths and 777 total cases.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 1 active, 264 total cases, 2 deaths.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had 2 new cases, 7 active, 760 total cases, 8 deaths.
