Vendor booths available at Big Sandy arts and crafts fair

Big Sandy Senior Center is holding an arts and crafts fair over three weekends in December.

The Winter Arts & Crafts Fair, a show and bazaar for both handmade-product and commercial vendors, will be 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 4, Dec. 11 and Dec. 18 at Big Sandy Senior Center, 166 Johannes Ave.

Organizer and Senior Center Activities Director Sarah Shaw said the event has space for more vendors, and the $20 cost for the booth pays for a table and chairs. The number of electrical outlets is very limited, so anyone needing electricity hook-up should call as early as possible. Deadlines for sign-up are Nov. 24, Dec. 1 and Dec. 8.

To maintain COVID safety compliance, Sarah Shaw said, each event will showcase only seven vendors, so it will be worth returning each weekend to see the new items for sale.
